The Delta MH300 is a high-performance compact vector-control AC drive engineered for demanding industrial duty in a footprint up to 71% smaller than the previous generation. This 15 kW (20 HP) model accepts a 3-Phase 380–480 V AC (-15% ~ +10%) supply and delivers a rated 32.0 A output under Heavy Duty (HD) and 36.0 A under Normal Duty (ND), built on a frame E chassis. It supports both induction (IM) and permanent-magnet (IPM/SPM) motors, making it a flexible single platform for a wide range of machines.

Maximum output frequency is 599 Hz, and the drive holds a 1:1000 speed range in FOC+PG mode. Overload capability is 120%/60 s and 150%/3 s in Normal Duty, rising to 150%/60 s and 200%/3 s in Heavy Duty, so this 15 kW (20 HP) unit absorbs sudden load impacts without tripping. Deceleration Energy Backup (DEB) lets the motor decelerate safely on a power dip and resume speed when supply returns, protecting the machine.
Communication & Expandability
RS-485 Modbus and CANopen are built in as standard. Two option-card slots add fieldbus connectivity — PROFIBUS DP, DeviceNet, Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT or PROFINET — plus PG feedback, analog/digital I/O, relay output or a 24 V external-power card for uninterrupted communication during a mains failure. Tension-control firmware (coil-diameter calculation, dual-PID, taper) is built in for winding and converting machinery.
