The Delta VP3000 is an open-loop, variable-torque AC drive purpose-built for the fluid industry — pumps, blowers, fans, HVAC, water supply, wastewater treatment and compressors. This 250 kW (340 HP) model runs on a 3-phase 380–480 V supply with a continuous rated output of 485 A (up to 461 A for 1 minute in every 5). It drives induction (IM), permanent-magnet (PM) and synchronous-reluctance (SynRM) motors, and delivers high efficiency, low harmonics and stable operation in a compact wall-mount package.

Fluid-Industry Functions

A built-in multi-pump function (constant-pressure, alternate operation and pump-redundancy modes) controls multiple pumps at regular intervals to balance wear and extend equipment life. Fan Traction Energy Control (TEC) shortens deceleration time by up to 40% on large fans without a braking resistor, protecting the drive from over-voltage. Overload tolerance is 110% of rated current for 1 minute in every 5 minutes — well matched to variable-torque duty.
